restaurant agia markella – beachside taverna for greek seafood at agia markella beach, nearby to the place of her martyrdom

geragides – restaurant in the heart of the town where Kira's pappou grew up, with classic prepared dishes—a poneros family favorite

makelos taverna – beautiful taverna constructed around a truly enormous, ancient tree that predates the Greek Republic. Best place for Chioti handmade pasta on the island, and a variety of excellent classic prepared dishes

bourtzi – restaurant and night club right on the harbor, where you can watch the ships sail right past you. A hot spot for a drink.
